Windows explorer and multiple other programs refreshing rapidly

I've been having an extremely aggrivating issue lately that has to do with refreshing. It started with just my browser windows refreshing in Opera, usually the second i began to type something into a text box. Now it seems to have spread to the rest of my computer because my desktop with flash rapidly and reorganise my icons, and other software has been behaving very erratically. i've run MSE, ADWCleaner, and a bitdefender disc but nothing was found. I'm at a loss here, does anyone know what could be going on?

Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free too (enable rootkit scanning - settings - detection) just in case.

Try a clean startup - Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes on both my hard drives with rootkit scanning enabled, it found a few things but the problem persisted. I also booted into a clean startup, the problem continued... I'm beginning to think this may have been a forced update from microsoft to get me to upgrade to windows 10

Do you have a System Restore point from before the issue started? System Restore

Perhaps F5 key acting up? Run KeyCastOW and see if it registers any keys - https://brookhong.github.io/2014/04/...n-windows.html (portable app, no installation needed)

I've already restored back as far as i could go, and the software didn't pick up anything with the F5 key

Did you install and run MSE while Avira was also installed?

Your system specs show Avira as your antivirus app.

I've also noticed that almost all of my ram is being used all of a sudden, leaving only 464MB out of 4GB freee
