    Computer won't wake from sleep

I hear the computer turn back on and the light is on, but the screen is still black. I have to do a hard shut down. When it's back on, it's like it woke up from sleep mode, not a fresh restart.

This was on Windows 10 and I thought it was my video card drivers. I reformatted back to Win7 today and install an older version of my video driver. The problem is still happening; wasn't like this before.

I tried to update my BIOS a while back and my computer wouldn't load into Windows. I reset the batter and it was fine. Would that have something to do with this?

Hiyya Chaoz mate it sounds very much like to me the swap back didn't go quite as you thought it might have done.

Now if you had 10 on the drive just how did you format the drive. Personally I would have used one of the methods / programs that clean the drive before I reinstalled 7. We would also like to know what 7 media you have if any because there is a lack of specs for your machine

mate can we have some system specs please as what you have postedgives us not that much to work with and given there are so many manufacturersof components and configurations that do influence what goes on within anygiven machine and OS.

I tried to revert back to Windows 7 but that didn't go well and had to format. I did it through the installation process, it had an option to format the drive before I got to install the OS.

    I updated my systen specs.

Thanks for the specs mate now I am still not sure just an ordinary format would have cleaned the drive enough to reinstall 7.

This is how I would have and would do it SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
