Win7 with BR burning/encoding issue

I am having issues with Premiere and BR encoding. I got this note.
There is a Microsoft problem in Win7 with BR burning/encoding. MS is aware of it and working on it,

Anyone know about this?

All that I know about this is what you posted, but it seems clear that there is a known issue with that program. Check with the manufacturer to see if there is an updated version. If not, it sounds like you may need to choose an alternate program to burn with.

Burning CD's in Win7
I'm getting ready to upgrade to Win7 Professional. Are there adequate capabilities built in to do basic CD/DVD burning? Also, I noticed there are several free programs out there available for download. Any of these better than Win7's burner? In XP I used an old version of Nero and found it...
