    Image Downloads

Hi Folks, I am having no trouble finding the images in the size I want, but when I right click it, and select 'Save image as...... ' it automatically gets shrunk to a size unsuitable for what I want. Increasing it makes it blurred and out of focus.

    Hi,
Can you give an example of where you're using save as at
Some site do mess with that ability

I often view the image using full screen = F11 then simply use the zoom CTRL + mouse wheel
Then use the key board shortcut keys for screen print = mine are Shift+PrntScrn
    Open M$ Paint and Paste

You will get fewer bugs this way too

Here's a png that will probably resize better than a nasty jpg

Hi Thrashzone, I used my Laptop to d/l the picture, it's screen resolution is unknown at present.
Tried to d/l one on my Desktop 2000x2000, it was saved as 225x225. Monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080.
I want the picture for my new mobile/cell phone's phonebook. It can shrink them if too large but not enlarge if too small.

Left click and hold on the image, drag it to the desktop and release. Poof, there is your image at the size it is posted.

    Hi,
You should be open the png image I posted and use save as and test it to see what size it saves at
Click the top bar on the image I posted to view it in it's own tab or window then use save picture as might be the only tip.

If you right click a thumbnail you'd need to use save target as might work better but that is not how traditionally to save as image.

I can resize the image for you if you want too I just need a size,
Seeing it's a cell phone I'd guess 500x would be okay.
This one you can right click it and save picture as
    Attachment 369979

But to drag and drop you can't drag the web search page or that's what will happen
You need to view the original image in it's own tab or window for that to work same goes for save picture as actually

Are you subscribed to a mobile ISP? They tend to do image compression to preserve bandwidth I believe (Performance Calendar » Mobile ISP image recompression).
