    one more thing what about the other folders? machine and user and gpt file i copied do i need to replace them with the old one ?

    Thanks it worked i wound'nt have done it without your help. Thanks a lot really appreciate it. my first task is done. and now they have given me another task. shall i ask you here or create another post?

    Sorry for the late reply, the first 2 folders we tried copying didn't have any modifications to the Group Policy so I believe you don't need to touch them.

    If your new task is unrelated better open a new thread as others may not be checking this one.
