Are windows 7 and windows 10 really better than windows xp?

There are many features in windows xp which are not windows 7 or 10, for example you can do advanced search in XP (you can refine your search based on type of file, created date range, size etc) which you can't do in windows 7 or 10.
When I attach my cannon camera with XP computer, it automatically starts a wizard to import the pictures from camera and gives option to delete pictures from camera but in windows 10, it does detect camera attached but doesn't do anything else. I have to go to my computer, double click on camera and then look for pictures in many folders before I can copy and paste them on computer itself. So are Windows 7 and 10 really better than windows xp. I am much more comfortable working in windows xp than 7 or 10. thanks

You can do advanced searches in Win 7, 8 & 10. They are not exclusive to XP.

I'm not a huge fan of Win 10 but prefer using Win 7 or newer over XP. I can't stand to use an XP computer any longer as it feels so antiquated.

Search ???? You shouldn`t have to search for anything on your PC, you should know exactly where it is.

And whenever I plug in anything to my Windows 7 or 10 install it automatically opens the folder, it should ask you one time and that`s it.

And I would never want anything asking me to delete the pictures from my camera, I`ll do that myself.
