    How to clear out old files? Windows double installation issues!


    Hello Sevenforums!

    I recently reinstalled windows 7, to fix a slow / broken version.

    However, i've found that the old files were not deleted in the process, but instead, windows just installed itself "on top" of these.

    Is there a way to fix this other than reinstalling from a cleaned drive? (single-use CD-keys have been used and such)

    Hi,
    Weird it would of been better to clean or format the drive with the custom install option,
    But disk cleanup and inside that use Clean up system files will most likely show windows old folder ?
