I recently cleaned my tmp files, but found that several like the above were not deleted. Can anyone, please, tell me what they relate to and if they may be deleted? They are size 0 and I think they may have some connection with Dell, my machine's manufacturer,
Where are these folders located?
When were they created? Does that date/time correlate with installing/updating software?
What app are you using to delete them? CCleaner?

Automated tools like CCleaner should not remove folders from the root of C: because those folders should not be there.
You can create a new folder named DeleteMe and move these tmp folders in there. In a few weeks, if all is working well, delete the folder named DeleteMe.
Some installers are flawed (poorly coded). They dump all sorts of stuff into the root. See the video in this post: Unnecessary files creating in External HDD
I wonder if those folders are from device driver install or updates. Do you have a MSI motherboard?
