Windows explorer has stopped working loop

I was deleting some applications from my computer earlier when it ran out of power, i plugged it in and turned
it on. When i got to the desktop i received the message "Windows explorer has stopped working" and then
"windows explorer is restarting" this kept going on for awhile.

Right now i'm in safe mode since it is the only way i can actually use the computer without being put back into
the loop, I've been to some other threads and saw them list some event properties from the event viewer so
here are the properties i received:

    Log name: Application

    Source: WMI

    Event ID: 10

    Level: Error

    User: N/A

    OpCode: info

    Task Category:None

    Keywords:Classic

    Computer:Home PC

Any information would be appreciated, id like to solve this as fast as I can...

    Welcome to our forum CosmicTM.

The few times I have had such a problem I use this tutorial to fix things.

It can hurt anything and might fix things. What it is doing is checking Windows 7 Systems Files and repairing them if it can.

Read this tutorial by Brink completely first before trying. It explains things.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
