Sounds like he`s upset with himself

You have to have all the windows 10 updates installed on Windows 7 SP1, then you will get the stupid Windows 10 Icon.

Or you can do it another way.

I thought there was a tutorial for this but i can't find it now.

I did the free upgrade using the Media Creation Tool explained here:
Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - Windows Help

This worked for me.
I didn't want Windows to upgrade my OS when it wanted to, so i did it this way so i could have some control.

You should make sure you have everything backed up before upgrading, and check that your hardware is compatible with Win 10.
Some PC's don't have W10 compatible drivers, and that can be a show stopper.

Hi y'all, I have had virtual XP on my W7 32 bit for some time, but never needed to use it. Now I want to run an old game that will not run on W7, so thought I would give VXP a go. Game installed fine, if a bit slow, and as it was installing I noticed that the windows update shield had appeared...

This is a clip from in IE9 on a new 64-bit install. ClearType is on. I'm looking at a 1680x1050 display. I feel like I can see individual pixels. Large black headline fonts in browsers are especially bad, with artifacts coming off the edges of characters that should be straight, off the...
