    faded text

    Hello,
I run win 7 64. My browser is FireFox. One day i started my my computer and texts were washed out. Most of the black and white text on my computer screen has faded. If there were a contrast adjustment I would fix it in a second. Let me say here that it is not my monitor. It has nothing to do with desktop settings. I have been through the posts and tried using all the suggestions. It is the same on FireFox and when fire fox is closed.

Dropdown menus are faded. My word processor texts are faded. On this page as i write this, all of the small black and white text such as, "Logged in as angster", "Use a title that describes your problem......." etc are faded.
All of the "Do Not capitalize" etc are faded. The text I am writing now is Not faded.

    Can someone please help me?
    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply hacb,
As I said, I have been through all the control panel settings. I don't see a color calibration. There are high contrast desk topps but they don't have any effect on my problem.
