Hi Greg,

Interesting about AVG - have just been reading on the NG that AVG has caused download issues for some on Vista.

Avast seems much better.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Reinstalled again and now I'm using Avast...

I'm happy to hear that yo got it sorted out. How strange that it turned out to be AVG that may be causing it.

Windows 7

I'm perfectly willing to entertain the idea that it may have been virus, especially since Windows 7 seems to be particularly vulnerable to such attacks (first virus sweep always catches 5-6 viruses/trojans without going online except to download the AV software), I'm just saying that a fresh, updated install of Win7 had the fold options access, then that was gone after installing AVG 8. The same is not true of Avast, at least at this point. Now, AVG may not be the cause, but you'd have to admit that it is one heck of a coincidence…

Is there a way to switch a folder into a view that is not organized in any way? Basically, my boss wants to put things in the order of priority (EX: Drags one to the top and it will stay at the top, drag one to spot 2 it stays at spot two, etc). Since he'd have an issue with removing a file every...
