    Force shutdown timeout?

Is there is some registry key that can set a timeout before forcing shutdown\log off.

    The key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
AutoEndTasks to 1 - this forces log off\shut down(killing those apps that prevent the shut down\log off)
WaitToKillAppTimeout - I think this is what I need but it's not working.

Since my pc is really quiet, last night I though I turn it off but when I wake up(8 hours later)I saw that it's still staying at the screen asking me to force shut down or cancel.

I don't want to automatically kill the process without any time to cancel my decision to log off\shut down

    Hello vsub, :)

If you like, you could create a forced shut down computer shortcut using the tutorial below with a timeout value you specify.
