    Jerome, you can get official SP1 installation ISOs with your retail license key from that MS site.

    I'd like if Us3r could show me where I can download the Windows 7 Home ISO from that site, the numerous links I've tried did not link to downloading an ISO file; besides I need a recovery disc, which if this can be extracted from the ISO I'd like to know how ?

    Ha; I thought those were strictly images ! I'm a little perplexed how do I make a recovery disc from an ISO without installing the OS, which I don't need to do ?

    Installation media can be used to start the recovery environment.

    Option 2 - System Recovery Options

    You can use Rufus to make a bootable USB flash with the ISO, or Burn Disc Image - ISO or IMG file
