Try installing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables versions (both x86 and x64):
- 2005
- 2008
- 2010
- 2012
- 2013
Search in Microsoft site for these, total 10 installs.
Hope it works :) if not maybe others will have other ideas
I did as you suggested, I am still getting the same error window visual c+c+ runtime library that does not allow me to open some programs like youtube, and others like google, it intercepts it and sometimes it interjects another page into it. I have ran Avast and Malware bytes but theydid not detect viriii.
I like your kitty baby. I have 3 rescues. One Siamese, another a coon mix (spoiled brat) the other blackie the panther. She came out of the woods as a baby and stayed.
Which browser are you using?
If Internet Explorer - try a no add-on mode - Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons) - Open
Got mine from the street :) That was 2.5 years ago. She is 3 at the moment. We have lots of animals (cats and dogs) living on the streets.
Can you post a link to a website that is giving you this trouble?
Also, can you please post a screenshot of the error that you see.
You can use these steps:
Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
Perhaps AVAST is causing this. You can replace it with MSE as a test.
Or maybe a complete reset of whatever browser you are using.
Here are the steps for IE:
Internet Explorer - Reset
Be sure to do step 5.
FYI,
Firefox now automatically blocks Flash, you have to allow it.
C++ is not required by many progs, and if it's needed you will get a pop-up saying C++ required.
