To me if one wants Windows 10 just buy Windows 10.
Now one has Windows 10 with it's own COA key and Windows 7 with it's own COA key.
New should the two mix.

I'm of need with a little help understanding this; their is a cut off date for getting a free upgrade to Widows 10.
What is the cut off date when one can no longer use the free upgrade they installed without paying for it? Surly you won't be able to use it forever.
My Win 7 is a retail key and from what I've been reading on the Microsoft answer forums people have successfully gone back to Windows 7. Surely they can't just take a Windows 7 retail key away from someone?
Edit: Oh wait, I misunderstood your reply there. My idea is not to have two OS running at the same time. I have no interest in dual-booting. Once I've activated 10 I will then just go back to 7 until I decide (if ever) to later install 10 again.
I could pay for Windows 10 but why would I if it's a free upgrade? Plus, at the moment it doesn't seem like something I would want to purchase. I don't feel it's worth paying full price for in it's current state.
If I can't upgrade after July 2016 then I haven't lost out. I'll just continue to use 7 until EOL.

Yep I'm sure the program might end someday,
Bottom line is it's a great way to take a look see before purchasing 10 or out and out upgrading
Best way to test drive win-10 that I've seen :)
All updates are beta brother
Besides it has the same ring settings as it's always had fast or slow
Slow would be just as everyone else is getting them
I'll probably reload 10 in January and see what hasn't changed :)
That is the way dual boot works one at a time otherwise v-m would be used but still one at a time
Either way I just love my ez swap evo make separating os as easy as it gets 10 is never the wiser of others,
Only Linux knows your dual booting the old fashion safe way :)
