Cmd.exe is missing on Windows 7 64-bit

    You can open a Command Prompt from Windows Explorer by navigating to the hardlink target I posted above and running cmd.exe from there.

    I just did this on my Win 7 Pro X64 from here:

    C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-commandprompt_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.17514_none_e932cc2c30fc13b0\cmd.exe

    Then run

    fsutil hardlink create \Windows\System32\cmd.exe
    \Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-commandprompt_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.
    17514_none_e932cc2c30fc13b0\cmd.exe

    from that Command Prompt to recreate the hardlink in system32.

    Same problem fixed here via Powershell: My Windows dont have CMD
