document folder contains 4 folders, I want just 1

Libraries-documents-shows 4 separate folders with different names. I want to consolidate them into 1 folder. Do I just drag and drop them into the the 1 folder that I want to contain them all?

I need to have a document appear in the documents folder of 2 different users so that either one can modify it and the copy in the second user's folder will automatically update. Neither user has direct access to the other's documents. I hope that's clear. Windows Home Premium 64 bit.
