    Copy, paste, gone.

when trying to copy a section of text from a web page, the text for copy, paste are missing from the drop down menu. ctrl c and ctrl v are working, but I would like to have it displayed in the menu. Anyone know how to get it back? THXS.

Try restarting Firefox in Safe Mode (Options, ? (Help), Restart with add-ons disabled...) which will let you know if one of your add-ons is causing the issue.

    Firefox - Reset to Default

restarted in safe mode. Now the right click context menu is 10 times larger than before, but copy, paste is listed. I have not yet tried to reset

Start disabling add-ons until you find the one causing the problem (or reset) :)
