    Stop having to select a user on startup.


    Hi,

    For some reason, every time I reboot my computer I need to select the user to login to. This is weird because:

    1. There are no other users on the computer
    2. The only user is an administrator
    3. the User has no password


    Any ideas?

    I tried that on a couple of machines. yet they still have the same issue. I tried using the netplwiz method, and using regedit.

I have to select a user upon startup of Windows instead of have just being prompted for a password as per usual of having one user. Same deal when locking. Any ideas?
I'm using windows 7 home premium (64bit). When I run "control userpasswords2", I see the following list of users in this order: Alex (Administrators) Guest (Guests) temp (Administrators; Users) Susan (Administrators; Users) I also have "Users must enter a user name and password"...
i have three harddisks on my pc...... 2 of them have vista 64 bit and one of them has win7 64 bit.... Trying to select which one i would boot from had been a real pain in the ass.... bios setup boot sequence blah blah..... until i used some software which i cannot remember that installed...
