Desktop Icons blinkings and disappear on left mouse click and appeared

About one week back I installed Skype application and also the driver for Frontech web cam. Since then I find that my laptop not working properly. First of all during booting its asks for selecting a booting option, although there is only one OS i.e. Windows 7. First time i asked to choose such option.

After i press enter, the system starts. But the desktop items are not stable, its blinking or remain disappeared. On right click, they appears but disappears on left click.

When I open the Mozilla Firefox browser, it is not stable rather refreshing itself repeatedly very fist. whenever i trying to write anything in search engine, it is reseted to blank.

Office 2007 also not working . Nothing I can write there.

Windows notepad also not working . Nothing i can write in it. The date and time are appending repeatedly infinitely.

The Skype working without any problem.

Any PPT when opened, switched to Slide show mode automatically.

I tried system restore option and restore to a 6 month earlier point but still the problem persists.

    Please Help.
