Avoid having to click continue on external drives for security..

So on my previous load I wouldn't have to click continue, don't remember ever changing anything but UAC was on and it would just instantly open the folder vs the whole continue and wait if its alot of files. Anybody know how to do this one?

I backup many machines so just telling me to take ownership isnt an option as it happens on every machine. Even after taking ownership since the reload it still wants to do that process.

This is for the documents folder, etc etc. Anyone who is here that is a tech should know what im talking about. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can throw at me.

As a Tech I use Fab's Autobackup. He sells a home and a pro version to suit your needs. It does all the ownership taking it needs.

    Hi Radzer,

If it's just one folder that you're receiving this "continue" prompt on, set more permissions on it.
    E.g.
    Code:
    icacls "C:\path\to\folder" /grant "Authenticated Users":F
You may have to use an Elevated Command Prompt here.
