Windows 7 x64 slow and hangs, ctrl+alt+delete error

    Sounds good. Do you guys have any other advice on speeding things up and optimizing? Can I get rid of any services listed there?

    Also, I was having problems with Panda AV, now I want to find one that isn't too intrusive or heavy. Any advice on a good, free, AV program?

    * Microsoft Security Essentials (free)

    * Malwarebytes Anti Malware Premium (not free)

    Here is a tutorial by Brink that gives many suggestions. I doubt you will need to do all of them.
