Will Win 7 still boot if I hide Recovery partition in front of it?

    Hi Folks,
Just been helping a colleague sort out his Win 7 installation which resulted in a re-install from his Dell Recovery disc.
This has resulted in 2 partitions on his active system disc.
They are (E) Recovery and (C) OS
He also has a DVD drive (D) in the system.
What I would like to do is "hide" the Recovery partition.
I can do this in Windows disc management (dismount it) or using Partition Master (EaseUs).
My question is, If I hide this recovery partition will Windows still boot OK?
    Thanks in advance.

I can confirm it's OK to hide a partition in front of the OS and it still boots.
However, if you delete the partition you will need to rebuild the mbr.
