    Hi.
I have two (i hope last) questions.
    1. How can i remove that two panels from folders, that on left with quick links and that one at bottom?

    2. How to change default icons? In my case id like to change that ugly text icon.

Thanks and sorry for my newbiness.

Can you post a screen capture of what you mean? I only see two areas when I look at a folder.
The left side is the Navigation pane which you can get rid of by clicking Organize, Layout, and uncheck Navigation Pane.

I don't know what you mean by "that one at bottom" as I don't have one at the bottom.

Again, for icons, please post a screen capture. Where do you see the text icon? Examples please.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

The text icon is in the imageres.dll in icon folder, #s 19 and maybe 102.
    In both C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64
