I tried W-10 installed on its own ssd and for me it was way to annoying.
Maybe later I will try it again and maybe not.

I'm still trying to figure out what W-10 will do for me that Windows 7 doesn't already do.
Here's what it will do for you: Give you headaches every second Tuesday of the month. Ensure you have no online privacy anymore. I could think of more, but I've got better things to do. Like explore the web safely on Zorin 9.

But with Microsoft having a virtual monopoly on operating systems, "personal preference" is not usually that well thought-out. Most just go with the flow with minimal thinking. Like they do with politics.

I agree! until 7 reaches the end of its support life where microsoft wont support 7 any longer and or provide windows updates for it any longer I am staying with 7. I tried 10 pro and it just seemed like it caused a lot more problems than it provided solutions for. I also happen to like the 7 "gadgets" on the sidebar which is something 10 obviously lacks. Not to mention within the past few weeks; the 10 startup file(s) went bad because my system would not shut down completely as in turn off completely when i instructed windows to turn the system off mainly and largely I believe because of the fact my mb is technically not 10 compatible. Not just that. When the startup files went bad; it caused me to do several hard shutdowns which in turn corrupted the rest of my hard drive and i had to in turn get a new replacement drive under warranty and because of this I lost everything and obviously had to start clean again which is sorta maddening so to speak for good reason.

Is there any real point to this thread that hasn't been covered time and time again?
