    I'm staying with WIN7 and not Win10

I installed Windows 10 on my travel touchscreen laptop because it has Windows 8.1.
It works OK but my desktop will stay Windows 7 as long as I can.
I feel Win7 is very stable and for most regular users it works well.
    How about you?
Will you stay with Win7 and not upgrade?

    Hi,
Yep sticking with 7 as well 7 home premium to 10 home is no upgrade
Without group policy 10 is way too annoying for me to deal with
And even 10 pro is still way too annoying.

I tried W-10 installed on its own ssd and for me it was way to annoying.
Maybe later I will try it again and maybe not.

I'm still trying to figure out what W-10 will do for me that Windows 7 doesn't already do.

As soon as I figure out how to add DX12 to W7 we will have it all, just give me time. Actually, we don`t even need it.

Some say W-10 will boot a few seconds faster. I'm still wondering why that would be a concern.

Most people are still on slow hdd's
If using a ssd there is nothing faster in 10 than 7 or at least is what I've seen :/

Never thought of that. I haven't used a hard drive in so long it slipped my thoughts. Then again we are not talking about adding minutes to a boot even with a hard drive to the best of my memory reading post.

I am staying with Windows 7 and not upgrading to Windows 10 because of this big blunder by Microsoft this October of "accidentally" automatically upgrading Win7/Win8 machines to Win10 without users consent as noted on these articles on these sites:
Windows 10 "Accidentally" Appears On Win 7, 8 Computers | TechBeat

Microsoft 'accidentally' upgrades Win7 and 8.1 PCs to Windows 10 | InfoWorld

    NOT OK MICROSOFT!
