Hello

Today i was scanning my second computer with Malware-bytes and after restart Performance Options window appeared, so I closed it down, and then after next restart it appeared again, I tried to google it why would it open by itself on every start up, but no luck was found.

Any ideas?

Is it possible that this Chinese/Japanese application not sure is causing this window to pop up every time, malware-bytes is not finding any viruses, and i can't disable this appliction it just enables it(in start up window), i tried to locate the folder where it's hidden and delete it, but no success, even with unlocker application I still can't , went to services and disabled it for now, but can't stop it, it says started.

If you use CCleaner, you might see if it can disable it using METHOD FIVE in the tutorial above.

Can't delete it nor disable it, says access is denied, on ccleaner forums found post about it, and some guy saying AVAST was blocking enable/delete function. Going to delete Malwarebytes to see if it helps.

---------------------------------------

Opened regedit, located Baidu folder, tried deleting it and it says 'Cannot delete Baidu: error while deleting key", googled it, and it said that it, logging as user may cause this, but on that PC there's only administrator account.

---------------------------------------

Downloaded adwcleaner, found 2 services, "bd0001" and "BDArKit", and 2 files in Windows folder, after deleting them, log file says, that 2 services founds and 2 files, but nothing about deleting them

Here is something I found.

Baidu Antivirus | Professional Antivirus + Ultrafast Cloud Security

Then tick on ( How do I uninstall Baidu Antivirus? )

Here is a 7 Forum thread worth reading on the subject.

You could also look in msconfig/Startup and Services (all services) and see if it is checked to start on boot.
If you could stop it from starting on boot you should be able to remove it through Regedit.

All anti virus programs are designed to fight back if something tries to stop them from working. Some infection will try to do just that; try to turn them off.

Ok so i scanned my PC with Avast and it did find 3 viruses, 2 of them were Trojans, i didn't take screenshot so i can't tell you virus names, and after restart, my pc keeps restarting over and over again, i can't even go to login menu too choose to which account to login, because i created 2nd one, for some testing. Now i'm in safe mode, avast won't open. And performance option windows is still popping up, oh jeez.

The thing is it's uninstalled in All programs but the bar still there, there's two suspicious files in C:/Windows/Sysnative/ folder which doesn't exists(i searched for it) but adwcleaner says there's two files in that folder.

And i look at manually removal link: tried with revo uninstaller earlier, and baidu is not listed in there, so i can't uninstall.
