Login/Lock screen doesn't go right to my account anymore

    Login/Lock screen doesn't go right to my account anymore


    When I turned on my computer yesterday, after Ctrl + Alt + Del, my account plus a forgot password "account" came up instead of just asking for my password. It now does this every time, even when I just lock the screen. How do I get it to go back to going straight to asking for my account p/w?

    it only does that if you have multiple accounts, try deleting the new one and see.

    There is no other account besides mine and an admin one which is hidden. This is the first thing I checked.

when I try to login to either of the accounts, it flashed for a second and then goes back to the login screen. I did an offline defender scan and remove a few adware, but I don't think they were the cause. Is there any way I could monitor the login process and see what's failing.

Lock screen instantly on login!

Hello all, (Disclaimer, I am a complete windows 7 noob, I've been a mac user my whole life but just switched to windows) Whenever I log into Windows 7 the computer is sending me directly to the "computer locked" login screen instantly, as soon as I enter my password it sends me right back to...
For some reason, my 'sleep' has stopped working - either from the sleep button, or on the Start button option. Now it just goes to the user login screen. Has always worked perefctly until today. Weird. Any ideas?
