    UAC not asking for password

I have the administrator UAC set to having a password. It is the only UAC at this time other than Guest. When I boot the laptop it goes straight to the desktop. No prompt for a password. This happened after Microsoft removed the "your windows 10 is ready for install" in the updates. I had them remove all this because my sister decided to not get 10. I'm sure its something they did, but I do not want them back in. They spent 3 days (about 13 hours dealing with it). Maybe a service not set correctly? I'm not sure.

I don't think its a UAC issue, rather the User Account does not have a password.

Use this to assign a password to that users login account:
Password - Create for a User Account

It actually has a password. It also says its password protected in UAC. I just added a standard user and tried to perform something that needed admin rights. It prompted me for the admin password which I entered and it then allowed me to do the task. WEIRD!!

Thats normal : it prompted you for the UAC, and you entered it, and it performed the task.

Does the login issue still exist?

Yes, the login issue still exist. I have an Admin and a standard and when I boot it boots to the desktop for Admin without prompting for password.

I guess I finally worded my google search correctly. I found what was causing the issue. I did option one number 3 and that fixed the issue. Here is the link on this site.
