Windows 7 64bit will not load past login screen... HELP!

Yesterday all seemed to be working fine. I was using my custom built PC to study. One of my subject was to learn about Adobe Flash so i needed to download flash professional.
I downloaded this and the Adobe Creative Cloud, used it for a while whilst studying, then turned off my PC.

Today i loaded PC and found it will not load past windows login screen. I enter my username and password, t says welcome, thinks about it for about 30 seconds, then i just get a black screen. My mouse pointer is on the screen and i can move it around the screen, but there is nothing to click on - its simply not displaying anything at all.
To try fix i have done this:
I CAN load in safe mode. Everything seems normal when in safe mode.
In safe mode i have deleted the adobe products that i downloaded.
I have tried windows repair, it did somethings, but then it booted W7 again and same thing happened.
In safe mode I have tried to re-install drivers from motherboard (ASUS Z97-pro)... seemed like some worked and some didnt... suppose because its in safe mode drivers are limited - same with graphics card drivers (Radeon R9280)...

I cant work out WTF is going on! and its driving me nuts!

Can anyone recommend my next steps?

Have you tried pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL on blank screen with mouse pointer to open task manager and start explorer.exe process?

Ctl alt delete doesnt do anything
I tried stopping some of the start up processes that i read about in another post and now it won't even load past the windows logo. Also tried start up repair which did nothing. Looks like its stuffed. Think ill be reinstalling windows when i get home tonight.
