    That's exactly where it's at- 'C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Opera\launcher.exe'... if I double click the 'launcher.exe', Opera browser does, indeed, open. Here's a screenshot of Explorer opened to location.

    Sorry, I didn't post the shortcuts properties like you asked for earlier- here are the General and Web Document properties:

    That shortcut is not using what I posted to create it with.

    Odd. Try the full location below when creating a new shortcut instead to see how it works.

    Brink, that did it!... the parenthesis appear to be the difference. Note in the attachment below that the word

    balloon reads 'pin to taskbar', rather than 'pin to Opera'.

    Thank you, I'm grateful for your efforts on this trivial matter.
