data missing

    data missing


    iam having 3 drives in my pc those are C,D,E

    C- drive which has os installed on it
    D,E are my personnel

    iam having 30GB in my D drive and i copied all data from D to E drive

    after i checks files in E drives (which are copied), i found only 28 GB was copied. And i checked and conformed all folders are copied.but it showing 28GB only.i din't get any error message during copying. where is remaining 2GB content?? please help .

    Did you check hidden and protected system files? Try scanning D with WizTree (has a portable version too - https://antibody-software.com/web/so...ur-hard-drive/) and see if you can spot those 2 GBs of data.

    Yeah, I checked with attrib command. But it is not working. Thanks for your suggestion. let me try wiztree application.

    How do you determined the 30 and 28 GB amounts? Which screen got you those numbers?

    Make sure that you're not making a mistake in considering the cluster size slack space or those small GB vs GiB measurements, typical causes of small discrepances between sizes.
