More information would be helpful. We have no idea what program you are trying to install.

its a version of autocad. Its not just the programme however, its whenever I am installing anything. I am afraid I am a mac user, so it could be me being an idiot. This seems to happen with most programmes!

When you install a program it usually has a "setup.exe" "autorun.bat" or something similar that you run to install the program.

If you just click on the application that will not install or run. It has to be the installation app for the program.

I've had some occasional problems installing programs from disc or flash drive. In those cases I copy the program (everything) to a temporary folder on my hard drive and then install from there.

ive ran DXSETUP.exe and still keeps saying "cant find setupUi.dll"? On the one programme. Along side it is the file "DSETUP.DLL." if thats any user. If I try and open that it asks for a programme to open it with but that is probably irrelavent...

DXsetup.exe should be the correct install program.

Where did you get this program? It sounds like there are files missing. If you copied this from a program that is already installed on another PC that may be the problem. When it was installed (correctly) some of the installation files are not copied to the folder on the PC with the program.
