    if i reboot my windows 7 Hp laptop (HP pavilion g series) , does it affect my files ? more like deleted or what ? I'm afraid that if i reboot my laptop, i will lose files .

    you should be fine, so long as you save everything you were working on befoe you restart, even if you do have to hard reboot, some programs such as Word can autorecover your work (and let me tell you that feature has saved my skin on countless occasions).
