Windows Explorer icon with RED X in notification area.

    Good morning people!
I have an issue I would like some help with. Every time I reboot my computer, a Windows Explorer icon with a red X appears in the notification area. When I click on it, it disappears and Windows Explorer opens. It remains gone until the computer is restarted. It first appeared about 4 months ago and I believe it was after some Windows security updates. It isn't causing a problem, I just want to be rid of it. It's annoying! Anyone have a solution?

Windows Explorer icon with a red X, I had made that correction.
I can't believe nobody has encountered this condition.

There is no Windows Explorer icon in system tray.
You don't mean this do you?

You sure it isn't the network icon? Does it look like a desktop screen?

I have this exact same problem with my Windows 10 64 system. I was thinking that it started when I recently tried out Bitdefender IS, but am not sure. I have not found any solution yet. Is there an answer?
