Iv been trying to download it for ages, all sorts of errors and why not, I tried to open the torrent, and clicked 'open with' >Adobe too soon, now it wants to open it with Adobe all the time. This laptop had never been backed up either, won't do that onto dvd's but that's another thread.

You don't open torrents with Adobe, not sure why you are trying that.

Torrents are just file sharing, but you need a torrent client program to actually use the small torrent you downloaded.

That will enable you to start getting the pieces of the actual file you want downloaded to your computer.

This is the one mentioned in AddRAM's link,

    qBittorrent download | SourceForge.net

They will even tell you how to set it up if you click on the link in his link.

Use this, then choose which ISO file you want from the link I provided earlier, it should not take very long depending on your download speed.

?Torrent® (uTorrent) - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client

Download Windows 7 ISOs, Legally and for Free | PCsteps.com

Then use this to burn the iso file to dvd at no faster then x4 speed, you must have a dvd burner to do it.

    Free ISO Burner

Then use the 25 digit key on your COA to activate windows, you have 30 days, so you don`t have to do it right away, but you can use the key on your COA to activate windows on that PC/motherboard as many times as you want.
