    start icon unresponsive--help pls

I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on. The start button along with other task bar icons are unresponsive--sometimes,not all the time. But I can open icons on desktop. This issue caused me to rebuild my computer thinking it might be hd,mobo, memory, cpu. With all components replaced EXEPT PSU , issue still arises. Any advice. I dont think it could be PSU..its 650W and seems to be running fine. Thanks guys

I have run across this a couple times on my Laptop. I just used the image of my system and restored it and things were good. I am guessing you have no backup. It most likely is a software problem, not hardware. Do you have a Windows 7 disk?

When did this start and is it only at certain times or is it all of the time? Did you do a Clean Install of Windows with the download you got from Microsoft? When you made the CD from the file you just got, did you burn the CD at no more that 4X?

If you have Internet Download Manager Installed, try uninstalling that then see what you get.

search IDM and/or Internet Download Manager, or browse through your programs folder

If you do have it don't just delete the files. You need to uninstall from control panel, which also makes me remember you can search it from control panel/programs
By the way, nicely built computer, lots of good stuff in that box. I'm jealous!
