Win 10 can't be the last one. MS makes its best income by brainwashing everyone to buy a new OS every few years.
Actually, MS can and will. MS has abandoned the idea a new OS every so many years and is making continuous changes to Win 10. In fact, I'm amazed they even bothered to number it. They will still make their money because a Win 10 license is only for ten years, then one will have to shell out their shekels to renew it.
I suspect that Windows will be turned into an Azure-based subscription OS.

I have Classic Shell making my Win7 UI look like XP. However, I tweaked XP to look like Win98.

I've heard CS can be used on W8.1.

Yes it can. I've installed it on my 8.1 VM.

Yeah, it's a fallacy about how you have to have the so-called latest and "greatest" OS to prevent malware and "hacking." LMAO! What a joke. I think they spread this rumor out to the masses to get everyone to update. Truth be told, you can update and update to your little heart's content and you're still gonna get malware or a possible hacker on your machine. After all, this isn't Linux, it's the most targeted OS in the world. And Linux copy cat Admin crap and UAC won't prevent any of it, but just create issues. Malware WILL get by especially if it's polymorphic. It just boils down to doing what everyone should be doing from the get go: don't browse the net like a moron. At least scan all downloads at Virus Total and of course for the love of God don't trust TPB crap. And if you have an overwhelming desire to surf for porn, then be prepared to get online STDs. The more popular sites might be safe, but not the other crap. These two points are chiefly where people pick up malware from in the first place.

Updates in of themselves are practically viruses. I have read forum post after forum post on computer forums all over the Internet of updates hosing their computers. I don't even use updates, and I've never gotten malware. Even so, I scan my computer every once in a while with a plethora of tools. Some most never even heard of or use, like Streamarmor. To make this even funnier, I have a netbook running XP that's connected to an external monitor, mouse and mini keyboard as the kitchen kiosk. It's primary use is a small FTP server who's storage is a SD card. It runs PhoneTray and a TeamSpeak server. This little beast has been on 24/7 connected to the Internet for the last four years and no malware or hacking attempts. Albeit, I have Peerblock on it that uses my own custom block lists blocking many countries and hosting providers like Azure, Amazon, Google, Digital Ocean, etc. Over 600 million IPs in total. I don't forward the ports necessary for TeamSpeak unless I use it. I keep port forwarding on a use case scenario.

I said updates are malware in of themselves? Check these articles out:

    Unreal.

I never did trust that Microsoft account crap. Then again, I don't think that user is too smart. Especially since he shows a pic of his computer with email address for the account. LOL Then again, he is using the mark of the beast, so what do you expect?

Techie isn't too smart either, or maybe it's a bot writing boilerplate.

As many users have said that Windows 7 support will end in 2020,but you can use it even after EOL.All you need is a bit of knowledge and a common sense.Use it as far as you think you're doing the right job protecting yourself and as far as Windows 7 is compatible with your software.
Heck even my dad uses Windows XP every day on the internet ,no problems so far.

We have plenty time until 2020; a lot of stuff can and will happen!
Me too, and then I'll just install a good Linux OS! Even better...I'll get the free Libre Office, which works well enough for me as I only use doc and docx for the most part.

Well, also I'm new here in these forums, but want to say, I have dualbooted Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. Also I want to stay in Windows 7 and 8.1 forever. And I hate Windows 10 RTM+ and Linux (no offence) so much. I never liked Linux, I prefer Windows. Also Windows 10 RTM+ worked like a pure garbage, it worked slow and many bugs. Windows 8.1, Windows 10 TP Build 10074 (this is a beta build and it's expired, please don't judge me, I tested it on my real computer with BIOS date with 01/01/2015 and I used Google Chrome as today calendar using RunAsDate and I didn't change the BIOS date and I'm stuck with January 1, 2015 date, so it works faster and better than Windows 10 RTM+) and Windows 7 are stable OSes. I love Windows 7, 8.1, 10 betas (better than RTM). So I don't care about 2020 EOS and I never upgrade all my dualbooted OSes to Windows 10 and having 2 Windows 10 instead of Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. I never liked Linux and Windows 10 RTM+ IMO. I prefer to stay with Windows 7 and 8.1. In the Windows 7 EOS date, I still stay in Windows 7 and never change it. Windows 10 10074 (prerelease build) worked great until the RTM+ version of Windows 10 ruined it.

My current machine is just under one years old. HP has abandoned both Windows 7 and 8.1 they only have drivers for Windows 10. I had to grab the drivers from the original manufacturers. It worked and my machine is fully functional but this will not work 3/4 years from now. I'm already planning to get a new machine, there's still hope I might be able to get my hands on drivers now so that I can continue using 7/8.1 for another decade. I'm young I still have lot's of computing life left.

HP did pretty much the same when Win 7 came out. They refused to make Win 7 drivers for their older hardware. It's a major reason I will not buy anything from HP (poor tech help is another one along with chipping toner cartridges with an expiration date).

What do you recommend I should buy next ? Two things I want are 1- Vendor that support the drivers for older versions of windows and updates them accordingly, 2- Durability. I live far away from the city in wilderness, no help around here.

I don't have any experience with the vendors. Ever since I started using computers in 2012, I've only purchased HP, all three machines.
