    Internet Access Fees?

Please explain. Fine print at the bottom of the "Get Windows 10" frame which appears daily, is a line that says Windows 10 is free. It then says "Internet access fees may apply".

Is this in addition to the fees I pay my ISP? Please explain. thank you.

That means if your ISP charges you for bandwidth then you will need to pay the cost of the download.

Thank you. I don't understand but that isn't your fault. Just that I have no idea what it means. My ISP charges a monthly fee for internet access. That's all I know. Is charging for "bandwidth" (whatever that is) extra?

Some ISP's charge by the amount of data you download rather than a fixed monthly fee.

    Hi,
Yep the win-10 download is 3gb's + so if you're on a caped wifi isp contract you'd be effected
Most wired Lan internet access contracts are not usually caped.

Ah, all right. If I pay a monthly fee - as I do - I need not worry about this line. Right and thank you.

Wired. Old-fashioned cable access. Old-fashioned desk top computer. :)

    Hi,
    Your good no worries :)
The message is mostly for wireless = cell isp contracts which is the only caped data contracts around.
