    Downloads of web page hang 8,6,5,3 seconds before completion.


    Downloads of web page hang 8,6,5,3 seconds before completion.
    This is in "save page as" from Chrome control and customize.

    LaybackBear, I'm guessing before Windows can release the downloads to end-user, his anti-virus and anti-malware are checking the file[s].

    Agreed. Pages are probably being scanned for malware before saving/downloading. However, the delay might also be caused by having a ton of temporary internet files that need clearing out. If you haven't already done so, download and install the free CCleaner utility. Run CCleaner to find and remove many types of junk files and other clutter from your computer. It won't remove any programs or any of your personal saved data, just the unwanted stuff.

    Ok will do. I should tell you this happen only at one particular web site. It hang for hours.

    But before I was able to copy the pages from that site. What would be the site problem ?
    If by design site prohibit copying now, it should probably not even start to download ?
    I run CCCleaner and did what was suggested, no improvement.
