    Shortcut/Key to Disable Screensaver?

With a desktop r-clik I select 'Personalize'. I then clik the Screensaver icon at bottom right of window and the Screen Saver settings dialogue appears. When I select the screensaver 'None' and clik 'Apply/OK' the Personalize window's Screensaver Icon gets a red circle with a slash and as a result the screensaver does not activate. I would like to do this with a shortcut or key and request instruction on how to accomplish this.

    -thx

    Hello Marc, :)

You might see if the context menu in the tutorial below to toggle screensaver on/off may work for you.

Screen Saver - Toggle On or Off - Add to Desktop Context Menu

A shortcut or key method is preferred, but this will do - thx Shawn!

    You're most welcome.

You should be able to also create a shortcut of the .vbs file from that tutorial on your desktop, and assign a keyboard shortcut to it.

far out! I like to have/try all available/possible options and keep/discard as desired. I never even considered the context menu angle. It is definitely a great candidate and for many things is the 'go to' choice. -thx again Shawn!
