Sounds like you are not booting from install media if you see that message

What are you trying to install from ? dvd/usb ?

DBAN will by design erase everything from the hard drive it was used on. Any attempt to boot from that drive will fail. After failing to boot from the hard drive the BIOS will attempt to boot from the next device in line which is usually the network. As that can work only under very specific circumstances that too has failed and the error message is telling you that.

To install an OS you must set the BIOS to boot from the install media, whatever that may be.

    You have two options
1 enter bios and permanently change the boot order to boot DVD before HDD (or whatever order works for you)

2 enter one time boot menu on system startup and select your DVD to boot first, this is usually entered by tapping F11 repeatedly when machine first powers on (but could be different on different machines)

Hello again so I have went onto the BIOS Setup but even with the help given to me here I can't fix this problem I am going to post what I can see and what I have done to try to fix this sorry if this seems all round the shop I will try and explain my best
    ----------------------------------------------------------
WHAT I HAVE TRIED TO DO
    ----------------------------------------------------------
On Startup screen hit F1 >> BIOS Setup >> Startup >> Primary Boot Sequence >> CD/DVD: Optiarc DVD RW AD. 7710H >> Hit enter (Nothing Happens here) >> F10 to save >> Boot computer back up to boot win7 from CD still nothing works.

    ------------------------------------------------------
    OPTIONS IN BIOS SETUP
    ------------------------------------------------------
    Main Devices - Advanced - Power - Security - Startup - Exit

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    PRIMARY BOOT SEQUENCE (OPTIONS)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. FDD
    2. USB FDD
    3. USB KEY
    4. HDD1: ST3500413AS
    5. CD/DVD1: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7710H
    6. NETWORK 1: IBA GE Slot 00C8 V1365
    7. EMPTY
    8. EMPTY

    Excluded from Boot Order:

    USB HDD:
    USB CD/DVD:

    ---------------------------------------

That is everything I hope this makes sence, if anyone can help me here or tell me what options I go into and what to do I don't have a clue with these settings I never touch them, Thanks for any help

You may have a bad CMOS battery. This would prevent the BIOS from remembering the boot settings.

Your boot order is wrong, entry 5 CD/DVD needs to be above entry 4 HDD

Enter that menu and highlight the CD/DVD entry then a key press will move it up/down the order to re arrange, this is often Page Up/Page Down key but varies between board manufacturers
While on this screen with that entry highlighted have a look around the edges of the screen and there is normally a text box telling you your key press options

If you change the boot order in the BIOS, won't you have to go back & change it back? Why not use Pauly's 2nd method so it only boots from the optical drive the one time?

It will only try to boot from the optical drive if there is a CD or DVD in the drive, so no worries.
