    Windows 7 Home right click not showing new shortcut


    How can I repair renew or add 'NEW SHORTCUT' to right click.. I get new folders but not the add new shortcut..anyone help please

    Hello artinusa, :)

    What location are you right clicking in?

    Some locations will only have the New -> Folder option.

    sorry Brink I was away on business and holidays It is on the desktop..I want to add shortcuts but only get the folders options when I right click? Any idea

    That's ok. What item's context menu did you want this on?

    For now, here's a Folder Options shortcut to help.

    Hi again I apologize for late reply..I was really busy and away..I am trying to get back the facility on the right click under 'new. to enable the shortcut option to desktop.. it is not present currently .......... only the folder option. How can I enable this once more?

    No problem. You might see if using step 9 in the tutorial below can restore New -> Shortcut for you.

    Great news.

    It could be from a number of things. Possibly one of those all-in-one tweaking programs that may have a setting that removed it?
