Laptop strucks/beeps on first startup, second startup fixes it :/

    Hi,

My friend owns this laptop (Acer Aspire 5749) which is giving him this issue since a few days..

Everytime he boots up his laptop, it strucks at windows startup screen and restarting the lap fixes it. (the second boot fixes it). And again the third time he starts his lap, it keeps beeping at the same location and the next boot fixes it and the cycle goes on..

I've tried updating the BIOS to the latest version and it still doesn't fixes it.
This lap is a bit old one. I think he bought this on 2009. It runs on an i3 processor with a clock speed of 2.2ghz and a 2GB RAM.

    Please help me sort this.
    Thank you :)

Look Computer POST and beep codes
this will tell you what the beep mean, there are single, double and tripple beeeps, they all mean something like ram failure or video card probs.
    It is handy to know
