    re: a problem with bootup

1st off the OS is Win7 home 32 bit in an Aspire 5749 laptop. When I 1st turn on the laptop. There is a great black screen with nothing on the screen until the laptop get's to the windows boot password screen. After I get past the Win7 sign on laptop works fine. Except for the copy past move. Whats up?

Yes this is a new problem. And if my flat screen tv is set to pc monitor and plugged into the laptop. The oem screen with the line "press F2 for the bios" and so on shows up there. Not on the laptop screen
