Bootable C: dynamic 500gb disk to clone to 120gb ssd basic. Possibe?

I have a 500gb dynamic hard disk that contains the Windows 7 64bit Ultimate OS. Just the OS, programme files and libraries. That's about 94gb. The rest is free. Unfortunately it was set up as dynamic. It has just 2 partitions. 100 MB (system) and 465gb (boot, page file, crash dump).

I want to clone this to a 120gb SSD for faster response. I dont need a dynamic setup, basic is fine.

But, I dont want to have to reinstall Win 7 64 from the start. Too many programmes, too much hassle.

    Can it be done?

    Thanks

AOMEI makes a drive converter. It's available separately, and it may be a part of their Partition Assistant; not sure.

Then you can use their Backupper to save an image and restore it to the SSD.

I personally would take an image before doing anything. I don't know if a dynamic image can be restored to a basic volume.

First I would convert the dynamic disk to basic disk

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/.../cc755238.aspx

Then you can use Backupper or Macrium to make an image and restore that to the SSD. That will work if the data fits.
