Welcome to the forum. Do you have any new strange folders with strange files? There should be a report after check disk if you don't have that it will be in event viewer we need to know if your disk has had blocks or just a file system error

Same thing is happening to me and I shared a post about it last night - you might want to check it out and read the replies I received.

Do you use Bitdefender Antivirus by any chance?

From How To Extract The Check Disk (CHKDSK) Logs From Event Viewer on Windows

Follow these steps to view the Check Disk (CHKDSK) results:

    Open the Control Panel
    Open Administrative Tools
    Select Event Viewer.
In the Event Viewer expand the Windows Logs
    Select the Application log.
Right Click the Application log and select Find
Type wininit in the box and click Find Next
In the middle pane click the Source/wininit line that is found.
In the south pane, you will see the complete log for the latest Check Disk (CHKDSK).

Right click on the folder and select properties. Is there any files reported to be on the folder?
    Do you have Bitdefender Antivirus?

Did you do a search to see if you have (accidentally) moved the files and folders to another folder?
