    Need a bit of help/advice.

    I've got a major problem.. About two hours ago, I accidentally deleted my .ISO image for Windows 7... Obviously it's not available for download from Microsoft anymore, and a download from somewhere else would take too long.. any way I can undelete it or something? I need the ISO image sometime in the next 3 hours. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

    Oh, also, if it helps any, my current OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition. I believe that is the equivalent of Windows XP Professional.

    Did you look in your recycle bin (Trash Folder) to see if it might still be there ?

    @Dinesh - Thanks, I'll try it.
    @DocBrown - 2 GB is too large for the recycle bin, when I deleted it, it was deleted permanantly.

    R-Studio might be able to recover it. Whatever you use, do a hash check on the file compared to known value, when you're done.

    Finished trying both R-Studio and Recuva. Neither was able to recover it. Does this mean I'm screwed? D:

    How do you think you (accidently) deleted your .ISO file?

    I didn't "delete" it per se, I was using a program called MagicDisc, and was getting ready to mount the .ISO onto a virtual drive, and I clicked something.. and a prompt came up, showing the name of my .ISO, and asking if I would like to replace it. I wasn't really paying attention, so I clicked yes. Low and behold, my .ISO image was down from 2GB to 4KB. I felt saying "I accidentally deleted it" was easier than this explanation. :/
