sub folder viewing using arrow keys

When I scroll through my subfolders using explorer on the left hand side, it doesn't automatically display the contents on the right unless I use my cursor to manually select the folder, not just by scrolling up or down (right to left work to expand and contract folders). annonying. Ive tried the folder properties bar.

    Thanks

    Hello windows7mp,

    Welcome to 7 Forums.

You can hit enter to open the highlighted folder on the right.

    Hope this helps.

Is there a way you can do this without pressing enter so it automatically opens the folders?

    Thanks
